The Geek/Art CONfluence

Location: Shaffer Art Building (various rooms) with streaming options

All are welcome to engage with an inclusive group of artists, vendors, speakers, and activities in a communal event shaped like a 'comic con.' Featured guests include independent artists Valentine De Landro, Marie Enger, Marella Moon, and Marcos Chin; JoAnn Purcell (Seneca Polytechnic), Atagun Ilhan (Syracuse University) and many others.

The CONfluence showcases creativity through various media such as films, comics, reviews, and scholarly research but it also includes a much larger body of work made by fans—fan art, fan fiction, cosplay, online discussion forums, posts, and videos. Come see how these grassroots efforts contribute to a vital culture.
