Pinar and Preston present their work in early modern disability studies. Garcia Pinar will present: "Juan Ruiz de Alarcón’s Las paredes oyen or the Unstageable Birth of the Crip Galán." Preston will present: '"Dystopic and Miraculous Embodiments: Performing Time and Disability in 17th-century French Ballet." All working group members as well as scholars (faculty and graduate students) of early modern disability and related topics at member institutions are welcome.
