Turning your dissertation into a book and finding someone to publish it can seem like an overwhelming task! In this session we’ll take a collective deep breath and talk about how to tackle revising your dissertation into a manuscript, finding the right press for your work, and how to approach an acquisitions editor.
Bonus opportunities: The first 10 registrants will receive a complimentary copy of William Germano’s From Dissertation to Book, Second Edition. All attendees will be entered in a raffle to receive a half-hour book proposal consultation with Solic.

Biography: Peggy Solic is an Acquisitions Editor with Syracuse University Press. She has a Ph.D in history from Ohio State University, and acquires in the fields of Middle East Studies, Indigenous Studies, Geography, and New York State.
