Apply for Writing and Publishing “WRAP” Funding
Time: Oct. 15, 2026, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Location: Online
Syracuse University’s Office of Research, in partnership with the Humanities Center, offers WRAP funding to support faculty in “wrapping up” their single-authored or co-authored book projects.*
Any full-time tenure-stream faculty in any field or discipline with single- or co-authored books in the final stages of production can apply for WRAP funding for:
- Copy editing
- Indexing
- Permissions fees
- Open Access book publication costs (refer to Read and Publish Agreements for information regarding opportunities for publishing books in open monograph programs supported by Syracuse University Libraries)
- Other subvention
Any awarded funds must be expended by May 15, 2027.
