In this public lecture hosted by Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition, Gesa Kirsch (Soka University) explores what it means to engage in creative, activist archival research by recovering overlooked voices, working ethically with archival materials, and imagining more inclusive historical narratives. Drawing on feminist rhetorical studies and collaborative archival projects, Kirsch's talk invites audiences to consider how archives can help us envision more just futures.
