Celebrate Threads of Self, Community and Future

This day-long celebration completes a four-part “Threads of Self” quilting series* with a panel discussion, exhibit, and reception with food. At this community event to honor Women’s History Month, four guest designers reflect on the themed workshop they led in the fall / winter (see below).

Participation in previous “sew-in” workshops is not required for attending this event. However, space and materials are limited. Please register here!

October 4th - Person (Who am I? What shapes me? How does creativity reflect my identity?)

November 1st - Place (Where am I? What histories shape this place? How do they impact belonging?)

January 24th - Community (Who is my community? How do creative practices sustain connection?)

February 28th - Imagined Futures (What do I envision for a more just and liberated future?)
