Stone Canoe 2024 Launch Party

Stone Canoe is the only journal devoted entirely to the work of poets, authors, playwrights, and artists who are current or past residents of upstate New York, and is dedicated to shining a light on the rich diversity of expression from our often-overlooked region. The annual launch party is a celebration of our many diverse communities and practitioners, and their important stories.
In this assembly -- accessible in person or via Zoom --poets, authors, and artists published in Stone Canoe 2024 read from their works featured in the brand-new issue of the journal. This year's event also includes a tribute to founding editor Bob Colley, who passed away in 2023.
