The "Humanities Across Disciplinary Borders Working Group (ISD9)" kicks off a 3-part series of workshops for faculty interested in identifying funding opportunities for collaborative scholarship. Space is limited, and participants must be able to attend all three sessions:

Friday, Oct. 21, 11-1 p.m. "Funding Opportunities for Collaborative Scholarship..." led by Sarah Workman.

Friday, Nov. 11, 2-4 p.m. "Project Mapping Your Scholarship for the Public Good: Identifying Novel Questions and Matching Them to Funding" led by Barbara Endemaño Walker

Friday, Dec. 9, 2-3 p.m. "Inclusive Collaboration Plans" led by Barbara Endemaño Walker

The kick off (Oct. 21) is a hybrid lunch meeting, with the option to attend in-person or via zoom. The latter two sessions will be virtual.

About the facilitator: Barbara Walker is Director of Research Development and the Special Assistant to the Executive Vice Chancellor for Diversity Initiatives at UCSB. She is a leader in the field of research development and co-author of the book, Funding Your Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences: A Practical Guide to Grant and Fellowship Proposals (Routledge 2017).
