Family Pictures in the Archive

Time: Nov. 15, 2023, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Location: Special Collections Research Center - 6th floor, Bird Library (222 Waverly Ave.)

Part of the Syracuse Symposium

Part of the Syracuse Symposium series.

The Turning the Lens Collective joins SCRC staff to present a pop-up exhibition of images archived by community members at local photo-sharing events last month, in conversation with photos from SU's collections.

All are welcome to bring and share personal photos while celebrating the everyday photographs, local stories, and histories discovered within the SCRC archive. Participants can also learn best practices for preserving and caring for their own family photos.

For more information or to request accommodations, contact Max Wagh.
